My Story
A Life Lived in Words & Music.
I'm Mandy — creative writer, mother of three gorgeous children, wife and best friend to Pete. We go back quite a way; Pete was the bass player and I was the lead vocalist in a resident band in Devon, when I was just 19. Parties, music, hopes and many dreams — quite a way to start a relationship.
First and foremost, family is everything to me. I feel incredibly lucky, and it just gets better as a mother.
My qualifications for the work I do are simple: love, life and loss. These are the things that make words matter.

My favourite relaxation is a roaring fire, reading and writing — or gentle mindful cycling on my red Pashley bike, lying on a swing bed listening to birds with water nearby. We also have Elsie, our cute rescue dog (part Jack Russell, part Dachshund, part mystery), and our rather bemused Burmese cat, Evy.
